The Moskva, a Slava-class cruiser with a crew of about 510, is said to be on fire and in danger of sinking. It was reported that it was hit by two Neptune anti-ship missiles fired by the Ukrainian navy. The battery was hidden in or around the port of Ukraine. Stormy conditions apparently prevented Russian rescue boats from helping it as it burned.
