Police were investigating a non-life-threatening shooting in the area of 65th Street and Jansen Drive, the Sacramento Police Department said in a tweet shortly before 6 p.m.
All lanes north of 65th Street were closed between Jansen Drive and Fruitridge Road, police said, without estimating reopening time. Drivers should use alternative routes.
No other details were immediately available.
