Although the changes were to start in time for the Easter holidays, it would be too late for many who had chosen less restrictive destinations. Spain has long been a top destination for British holidaymakers. However, late Wednesday the travel agency announced that unvaccinated arrivals would still not be able to visit Spain and that a negative PCR test would be taken no more than 72 hours before the trip or a negative rapid antigen or lateral flow test no more from 24 hours before the trip will not be accepted (unless for unvaccinated children 12-17 years accompanying the vaccinated parents). Proof of recent recovery can also be used for entry, for infections between 11 and 180 days before the travel date. All arrivals must complete the Spain Health Check Form prior to travel. See more

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION # SPAIN * another official update from @Spain_inUK that clarifies an error on their part, unvaccinated travelers are NOT allowed to enter even with a test, are they in the process of updating their comments ???? Spectacular blunder, just madness ???? https: //t.co/TOAbqORttT – Julia Lo Bue-Said (@jlo_said) April 6, 2022 Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to have a Covid-19 test, but must have proof of their vaccination status – using the NHS Covid Pass – proving booster if the second vaccine was more than 270 days before the arrival date.
