On Sunday night (April 10), Square Enix and Disney announced that Kingdom Heart IV, the latest installment in the RPG series, is currently under development. They also unveiled Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link, a new mobile game, and Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road, which will receive its final chapter this August.

Donald and Goofy’s partners, as well as a new character named Strelitzia, are also appearing in the trailer for the announcement.

Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link, on the other hand, will give players the opportunity to embark on a new adventure on their iOS and Android devices from the realm of Scala ad Caelum in the real world. A closed beta test is planned for specific areas this year.

“We are excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series with the announcement of two new KINGDOM HEARTS titles,” Kingdom Hearts Series Brand Manager Ichiro Hazama said in a statement. “We would like to thank the fans for their support all these years and we look forward to experiencing everything that will follow for Sora.”
