Set in a looping version of the pulse on Journey’s “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart”), the trailer shows Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Will (Noah Schnapp) are in high school in California. As friends navigate their different environments, a new supernatural threat emerges, forcing them to face the horror of the Upside Down again. “War is coming. “Your friends in Hawkins are very much in the eye of a storm,” Eleven warns. “I do not know how to say this but to say it – without you, we can not win this war.” Note the title cards: “Each end has a beginning”. Hopper (David Harbor) is revealed to be alive, but is not doing very well, as he is imprisoned in Russia and forced to fight a Demogorgon with a group of soldiers. And the final seconds of the trailer show what seems to be the big bad of the season: a human-Demogorgon hybrid that can talk. The Netflix series, which follows the citizens of Hawkins, India, as they fight against supernatural phenomena, last released new episodes in 2019. Season 3 ended with a series of changes for the main characters of the series, led by Jim Hopper (David Harbor) apparently dies and the Byers family moves out of town. Filming for the fourth season initially began in early 2020, but production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, Netflix released several teasers for the fourth season. The first, released on February 14, 2020, revealed that Hopper survived the peak of Season 3 and is now alive and imprisoned in Russia. The other teasers showed Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) locked up in a psychiatric institution, several characters searching an abandoned mansion and Byers adapting to life in California. On February 17, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer announced that the fourth and penultimate season of “Stranger Things” would be split in two. Season 4, which will consist of nine episodes, lasts almost twice as long as any previous season. The Duffers did not specify how many episodes will be included in each volume or the average duration of each episode. They also confirmed that the series has been renewed for a fifth season, which will be its last. “Stranger Things” stars a large cast, with Brown, Harbor, Wolfhard, Matarazzo, McLaughlin, Sink, Schnapp returning from previous seasons with Winona Ryder, Joe Keery, Natalie Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Cara Buono , Priah. Ferguson and Brett Gelman. Jamie Campbell Bauer, Joseph Quinn and Eduardo Franco are in the cast this season.
