While Stranger Things has explored most of the world outside of Hawkins, Indiana in the past, the fourth season of the series is going to change things by breaking its story into a handful of different, important locations. Although the story is likely to return to Upside Down and take Jim Hopper to Russia, the first trailer for the fourth season of Stranger Things makes it clear that a significant portion of his next chapter will unfold in California, where Joyce and the rest of the Byers family have moved. Vol. The 1st of the 4th season Stranger Things premieres on May 27, 2022 and Vol. 2 drops on Netflix on July 1, 2022.
