EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (FOX 9) – Wet weather is expected in the area until Tuesday afternoon, with possible bad weather on Tuesday afternoon in southern Minnesota. Between 8 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, strong weather from the Twin Cities south and east is possible. Heavy rain, hail, gusty winds or a single tornado can not be ruled out, especially on the Interstate 90 runway. As of Tuesday morning (the risk of severe weather could be adjusted during the day), much of the Twin Cities metro is at slight risk of bad weather. In general, the further south you go to Minnesota, the greater the chance of severe weather. Watch the weather as it is expected to be an active afternoon until the early hours of the night. Then, Wednesday, cooler weather returns with lots of wind. And from there it will be colder as temperatures will probably rise in the middle to the upper 30 seconds on Thursday and Friday.
