Tuesday morning had more sunshine than Monday morning. In addition, Tuesday morning clouds caused no rain in central or southern Alabama. Thanks to some sunlight, temperatures rose from the mid to high 1970s until noon. Afternoon temperatures peak from low to mid-1980s, while the sky remains partly cloudy. A few rains appear possible, but the chance of rain and coverage seem MUCH lower on Tuesday compared to Monday. Tuesday night looks mostly cloudy and mild with lows from the lows to the mid-60s. Much of Wednesday is very similar to Tuesday. A little sunshine mixes with clouds until the afternoon and temperatures peak from low to mid-80s. From mid to late afternoon, the chance of rain seems very small. However, there is a possibility of strong to strong thunderstorms late Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. However, the level of risk seems much lower than the recent severe weather in our area. The hotspot for strong weather on Wednesday seems to be located in the Mississippi and Ohio river valleys. Thunderstorms affect these areas during the day, with greater instability in the game. The storm forecast center places an increased risk (level 3/5) in these areas. Meanwhile, the serious risk is reduced slightly (2/5) east to about I-65 in Alabama, to marginal (1/5) east of I-65. Thunderstorms are unlikely to reach western Alabama until mid-late Wednesday night. Until then, daytime instability is easing and it continues to do so as storms move east to the rest of our area on Wednesday night. In addition, other serious ingredients may drop in / out of our area on Wednesday night weather. With that said, we can not rule out the possibility of at least some severe thunderstorms in our area on Wednesday night. There is at least one low risk of tornadoes, catastrophic winds and hail throughout central and southern Alabama from at least 10pm on Wednesday night until 6am on Thursday. Be aware of the weather. The thunderstorms subside on Thursday morning and some sunshine returns until Thursday afternoon as a front pushes to our southeast. Afternoon temperatures peak near 80 °. Thursday night lows fall in the 1950s, perhaps 40 for some in the forefront. The front remains to our far south on Friday. This results in a very low chance of rain, with a combination of sun and clouds. However, the front does not stay long in our south. It stops along the shoreline of the North Bay and then rises north as a warm front on Easter weekend. This means scattered rains and thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday. It will not rain everywhere at any time during the weekend. However, both Saturday and Sunday have a decent chance of rain. Otherwise, both days look hot and humid with high values close to 80 ° and low close to 60 °. A little rain and thunderstorms remain possible on Easter Monday. It seems that another cold front is pushing our area at some point during the day. This could create the conditions for cooler and drier weather next Tuesday, and perhaps much of next week.
