Ormond Beach police say Sytch failed to stop at around 8:28 p.m. as it headed south on US 1, just north of Granada Boulevard that Friday night when it crashed into a parked vehicle. The vehicle then fell on the vehicle in front. The driver of the vehicle hit by Sytch, identified as Julian Lafrancis Lasseter of the Daytona Beach Shores, was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Sytch was taken to the same hospital for treatment, but was later released. A search warrant was issued and executed to take a blood sample, which police are using to investigate whether Sytch was damaged at the time of the crash. The results of the toxicology are pending, according to The Ormond Beach Observer, and police say an ongoing investigation could lead to criminal prosecution. The driver and passengers of the third vehicle were injured, but were not taken to hospital. Ormond Beach police have requested an expedited deadline for processing Sytch samples. The results will be available as soon as the department receives them and you may be prosecuted. Sytch has not commented publicly on the accident as of this writing, but tweeted the same day. While the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. ET, Twitter shows that Sytch posted a tweet at 2:33 p.m. He wrote: “Well, assholes, as my name has been at the top of the murder list for the last 20 years, and I’m still alive, s – t, my autograph is worth more now, so as soon as I scream you can sell it for a lot more money;! Come and see me in a signature “ Sytch has dealt with numerous legal issues in recent years and has been jailed at various times for various charges. He was released from prison after serving almost a year last summer, but was later re-arrested in January this year following a family incident in which he allegedly threatened to kill a man with scissors. Sytch was later re-arrested in late February on multiple charges, including operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs, suspended / revoked driving and more.
