Emergency services were called to the scene on Pollokshaws Street shortly after 3pm on Wednesday. A 10-year-old girl and a 19-year-old girl were taken to hospital after the incident that took place near the entrance of Pollok Park. Police were also present at the scene and an investigation is now underway to determine the full condition. An area at the junction of Pollokshaws Road and Haggs Road has been filmed as investigations are underway. A spokesman for the force confirmed the incident. He said: “Around 3.05 p.m. On Wednesday, police received a report of two people being hit by a car on Pollokshaws Road, near the entrance to the Pollok Estate in Glasgow. “A ten-year-old girl and a 19-year-old woman were transported by ambulance to the hospital. “Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.” The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
