According to a press release, police were conducting a family welfare check at their Irvine home when they fell on the rubble of a decomposing father, mother and adult son. The bodies had been decomposed for more than a year, the Irvine police department believed. “Members of the extended family of the occupants of the house told the Canadian authorities that they had not been able to contact the occupants for more than a year and were concerned,” police wrote. “The officers who responded entered the house and found three bodies in serious decomposition inside that appeared to be adults.” There were no signs of forced entry into the house and police found evidence of a “domestic incident that led to suicide”. The Los Angeles Times reported that police found evidence of a “domestic incident that led to suicide.” FOX 11 LA
