Emergency crews responded to Burnhamthorpe Road and The East Mall around 8 p.m. for conflict reports.
The Toronto fire responded to the scene and said a car was involved in a collision with a five-ton truck.
Firefighters also said there were many tents and that hydraulic cables may have been overturned.
It is not clear if anyone was injured in the clashes.
