Const. Sameer Kara, 39, has been suspended for a fee under police law. Police say they were called to attack Dundas Street and Keele Street around 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, where a man allegedly hit a woman during an altercation. No one was taken to hospital, they say. Kara, who was in power for 13 years, was not in service at the time of the incident. He was arrested and is expected to appear in court on May 19, police said in a press release on Friday.
