The convicted murderer, Sophie Eastwood, formerly known as Daniel, was sentenced to life in prison after strangling Paul Alji’s cell with cords. The 36-year-old convicted murderer has now told the incarcerated governor at Polmont Prison, Scotland, their desire to identify as a baby, wear diapers and eat meals mixed with baby food. Eastwood also demanded that the guards hold their hand when escorting them in and out of their cell. It is understandable that penitentiaries take the killer’s requirements seriously and have even provided a pacifier to meet the convicted killer’s requirements. Speaking to the Daily Record, a source said: “This prisoner has been difficult and manipulative all these years, which is why she is still behind bars after 17 years. “He decided that he would be ‘transformed’ from a man to a woman, something that is becoming more common in prisons these days.” Last month, the Scottish SNP government introduced the Gender Reform Bill, which removes the requirement for medical diagnosis for men who claim to be women. The bill has been criticized by Scottish women’s rights activists, effectively opening the door for male prisoners to request transfers to women’s prisons and endangering the safety of women in prison. “But this is obviously something else entirely and the Scottish Prison Service has not established a protocol for dealing with prisoners who decide they are babies,” the source added. “Eastwood is a complex and intelligent person, but she is quite demanding on prison resources and enjoys being the center of attention. “It is difficult to know if she really feels a natural urge to be treated like a baby or if it is just some kind of attention seeking,” the source continued. “Modern prisons are very much in tune with the human rights and legal implications they have, so they are being taken into account.” The source went on to add that Eastwood refuses to play by the rules and shows little inclination to live in a normal society. While living as a man, Eastwood was jailed in 2004 for dangerous driving. A month before he was released from the Dumfries Young Offender Foundation, Eastwood strangled his 22-year-old cellmate Paul Algie with “significant and prolonged” force with a string. The staff were so concerned about the violence that they used to name Eastwood “Hannibal Lecter Jr.”
