Police say two people were killed and about 10 others were injured and are receiving medical treatment at several local hospitals. Cedar Rapids police were on a routine patrol in the city center when the shooting occurred and were able to respond immediately. Officials say there is no ongoing threat to the public, but police are questioning witnesses and crime scene investigators remain on the scene.
