Emergency services were called to Lavan Close at around 11.30pm on Sunday, April 10, to report that a man had been stabbed. At the scene, police found Gary Morgan, 36, with a puncture wound to the side of his body. The 36-year-old, from Prescot, was rushed to hospital but died shortly afterwards. Police quickly arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of murder. He was remanded in custody to appear before judges today. The 60-year-old, who was also arrested, was released under investigation, while further investigations are pending. A Merseyside police spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 30-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a man in Everton. Emma Walsh, of Lavan Close, Everton, has been charged with the murder of 36-year-old Gary Morgan. “Mr. Morgan, who is from the Prescot area, was found with a puncture wound on the side of his body around 11:30 pm on Sunday, April 10. He was taken to hospital where he died shortly afterwards. “Walsh was remanded in custody to appear in court for domestic violence in Merseyside today, Tuesday, April 12.
