The Ottawa Fire Department said in a press release Sunday morning that the accident happened around 2:40 a.m. on Bank Street south of Victoria Street. The vehicle had rolled and the driver had been trapped, but she was able to call for help using her smartwatch. Firefighters managed to free her from the vehicle until 03:20 Ottawa rescuers said the woman was taken to the Ottawa Hospital Injury Center. There were no other details.
